Road Blocks and Detours
By Sandra Sheridan | | Encouragement, Faith, Holy Spirit, Salvation
The day started out like any other day. I got up, got dressed, and after getting you all off to school I headed out to the car to go to work. After taking care of the animals I looked at my watch and was pleased to see that I had plenty of time. I started on my usual route but quickly came upon a sign - ROAD CLOSED.
God on His Hands and Knees
By Sandra Sheridan | | Heaven, Help for the Hurting, Hope, Transforming the Mind, Wisdom for Living
It was right before the Passover celebration. Jesus, knowing that the hour of His death was upon Him, wanted to show His disciples the length to which His love would go. The Screaming Sky
By Sandra Sheridan | | Encouragement, Heaven
My favorite exercise is walking. I love to tie on my tennis shoes and head down the road at a fast clip. But I have noticed that I have a bad habit. For some reason as I am walking I keep my eyes focused on my feet. I don't know if I am subconsciously afraid I am going to stumble, but I will often catch myself with my head down, eyes glued to the pavement.
Young Love and Sticky Notes
By Sandra Sheridan | | Encouragement
Young love is so refreshing! Recently Dad and I had the opportunity to get to know a young couple who are looking forward to getting married and spending their lives together. In spending time with them we were invigorated by the intensity of their feelings for each other. The young man recently even wrote on 365 sticky notes reminders of what he loves about his intended and covered the wall by her bed with them. These types of intentional efforts make such a difference. They help keep a young love so new and fresh.

An explosion of color met my eyes when I entered the auction facility. A rainbow of Tupperware filled every table in the building. Red, yellow, blue, & green plastic bowls, serving pieces, cups, and pitchers were the order of the day. You name it, we had it!
