All That Glitters is Not Gold
By Sandra Sheridan | | Encouragement, Hope, Wisdom for Living
People often come across in one way or another. The outward appearance lends itself to a belief about their personality and character that may or may not be true. What we see on the outside can be deceiving and is often a mask to cover up what is truly going on inside.
Who’s Really Blind?
By Sandra Sheridan | | Encouragement
The glaring sun pointed angry fingers at the well-dressed men emerging from the synagogue. Each one raised a hand to his turbaned brow as a shield from its penetrating beams while straining to see the approaching crowd.
A Favorite Bible Verse
By Sandra Sheridan | | Hope, Wisdom for Living
This is one of my favorite Bible verses. I always get a thrill when I read this story. The Pharisees had been hounding Jesus, plying Him with questions, and trying to trap Him in His words. Yet when He spoke the truth they refused to believe and continued to twist what He was saying.
What Are Your Big Rocks?
By Sandra Sheridan | | Auction, Encouragement, Heaven, Marriage
Last week I listened to motivational speaker and auctioneer, Thomas
"Spanky" Assiter speak about how to grow your business. He spoke about being a "champion" in your avenue of work. "A champion is the best in the world in whatever he does. Society rewards those who are #1 and this is the place that anyone should strive to be." These are the words that he used to motivate us to affirm, visualize, and believe that we can be the champion within our sphere of influence.
Peace During the Storm
By Sandra Sheridan | | Comfort, Encouragement, Heaven, Holy Spirit, Salvation
Recently while taking a walk in the gorge near our house I was able to capture on camera a cool picture of a heron peacefully resting by the raging water rushing by. The heron never moved. It just calmly stood by the flowing water as if it did not have a care in the world. What a way to live life!

By Sandra Sheridan | | Encouragement, Faith, Holy Spirit
Today Dad and I spent the whole day in school. We were in Columbus, Ohio, sitting in classes to help fulfill our real estate continuing education needs. Loose Lips Sink Ships – Podcast
By Sandra Sheridan | | Podcast
A few years ago we were watching Abigail’s middle school perform in the musical, Kilroy was Here, a comedy set in the WW2 era. One of the lines in the song, “Spies,” says, “We mustn’t lose our grip, here’s a tip, Loose lips sink ships.” Sssssshhhhh!” Many thousands of years before the 1940’s God’s word…
